The Seeed reTerminal D1001 is the first of Seeed's LCD reTerminals: an 8" 800×1280 capacitive touch screen on MIPI-DSI, driven by an ESP32-P4 (dual-core RISC-V at 400 MHz) with 32 MB of PSRAM and an ESP32-C6 for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, plus a 2 MP camera, two microphones, a speaker, a microSD slot and a 2500 mAh battery.

Status

⚪ Not supported yet. The FrameOS firmware is built for the ESP32-S3 and ESP32-C3 and drives e-paper panels. An ESP32-P4 build with a MIPI-DSI LCD driver is a port we haven't done yet. With 32 MB of PSRAM the board has the memory for it, and full-color LCD scenes are something FrameOS already renders on a Raspberry Pi over HDMI.
